Sejong Hospital has received the 1st grade in the "3rd Pneumonia Adequacy Assessment" conducted by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) and earned the 1st grade, the highest level, for the third consecutive year from 2016.

Sejong Hospital received grade one, obtaining a total score of 100 out of 100 points, way above the average of all hospitals of 79.1 points, in the categories of △rate of conducting oxygen saturation test within 24 hours of hospital arrival, △rate of use of the severity determination tool within 24 hours of hospital arrival, △rate of prescription of sputum smear test within 24 hours of hospital arrival, △rate of prescription of sputum culture test within 24 hours of hospital arrival, △rate of blood cultivation test before antibiotic administration, △rate of antibiotic administration within 8 hours of hospital arrival, and △rate of confirmation of vaccination against pneumococcal disease.

Sejong Hospital has proved its quality from testing, diagnosis, and treatment of pneumonia by obtaining the first grade in all of the three pneumonia adequacy assessments.
