Mediplex Sejong Hospital held and completed Interventional Neuroradiology Symposium successfully under the theme of brain vascular anatomy in the Vision Hall located in B1 of the hospital on Sep. 21 (Sat.)

93 and 63 healthcare professionals and nurses participated in the first and second Interventional Neuroradiology Symposium respectively and this year, 48 medical professionals participated in the Interventional Neuroradiology Symposium, solidifying its position as representative symposium in Korea

Professor Phillippe Mercier, department of Neurology , University of Angers, who is renowned professor in the area of brain vascular anatomy and well known for his lecture and research using 3D images, was invited to this year’s symposium. Participants had time to examine vascular in 3D image and clearly looked at the complex state of vascular by wearing 3D glasses.

Choi Inseop, head of Cerebrovascular Center of Mediplex Sejong Hospital said, “the symposium will be held every year hoping that the anatomical knowledge is applied well to the interventional neuroradiology and it will help treat cerebrovascular diseases safely.”
