Sejong entered into business agreement with the Sharja Investment and Development Agency, UAE to establish the basis for extending its medical service to Middle East.




A total of 15 people attended in this agreement ceremony, including Sejong Hospital, His Excellency Marwan Jassim Al Sarkal, head of Sharja Investment and Development Agency, Elie J. Armaly, director of Sharja Investment and Development Agency, and REI Holding Group and so on.
 
Sharja is the third largest emirate out of 7 in the UAE, and Sharja Investment and Development Agency, which is an independent government agency and executing agency for national investment for all local development, promotes national development through cooperation with overseas advanced foreign institutions.
 
This agreement was made between 3 parties(Sharja Investment and Development Agency, REI Holding Group, overseas investment company, Hyewon Medical Foundation Sejong General Hospita) to strengthen the basis for extending medical service to Sharja area in UAE. Based on this agreement, REI Holding Group and Hyewon Medical Foundation Sejong General Hospital will discuss on the development of medical complex targeting medical tourists in Sharja, and Sharja Investment and Development Agency will support the project once the plan is confirmed.
 
With the know-how as Korea’s only heart specialized hospital, Sejong General Hospital and the Mediplex Sejong Hospital with Korea’s first and only medical complex, Sejong Hospital Group will cooperate to develop hospitals in the Middle East where the medical market is growing, and also contribute for mutual growth through brisk medical, educational, and research exchanges.
