Sejong Hospital was selected as Best local Emergency Medical Center at the '2018 Emergency Medical Institution Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare for 116 local emergency medical centers in Korea. This allowed the Hospital to earn the highest grade for 7 consecutive years from 2012 to 2018.

It took No. 1 in the country in terms of △ adequacy of infection control △ adequacy of violence preparedness and response △ adequacy of power △ ratio of direct treatment of specialist within a reasonable time △ reliability level of patient classification △ adequacy of dedicated medical personnel △ adequacy of quality management system △ user convenience △ patient satisfaction survey and △ ER operation efficiency.

Last November, the Hospital was re-designated as local emergency medical center which covers the entire Bucheon, Gwangmyeong, Siheung, Incheon and part of Seoul. We at Sejong Hospital will strive to play a pivotal role in providing final treatment for patients with severe emergencies and establishing an effective emergency medical care system.
